Those who attended our national seminar on 25th May will remember our guest speakers’ insightful presentations. The theme of this year’s seminar was ‘Vulnerability, Humility and Compassion at the Frontline’.
We thought we would share some of the key messages from their presentations here as a reminder to all. Dr Kate Lucre, a Compassion Focused Therapist and Supervisor, spoke about The Compassionate Kitbag as a way of sustaining us in practice. Dr Aisling McMahon, a clinical psychologist, integrative psychotherapist and clinical supervisor, spoke about ‘Vulnerability and humility in supervision relationships’. Dr Tim Dartington’s ‘Spaces to think’ presentation explored reflective practice as one way of taking a breather at this time of difficulty and stress.
